DfE AI Safety Evidence Toolkit: licence (direct USDC edition)

Version 1.0, 19 October 2026. These are the only terms on offer: no custom contracts, no negotiation. Paying for the toolkit means you accept them. Plain-English terms, not legal advice.

1. Who is who

Licensor: Adam Hale ("we"), adam.hale@atomicmail.ai.

Licensee: the organisation that paid ("you"). The paying Base address identifies the purchase.

Payment: in USDC on Base, sent directly to 0x491Fcf30a5aa0483B3cd8C0041d21801F195B3AF. There is no merchant of record, card processor or platform in between, and we do not issue VAT invoices automatically. Ask by email if you need a written receipt; quote the transaction hash.

2. What you get

The toolkit files: intake questionnaire, 87-row evidence matrix for the 13 areas of the DfE "Generative AI: product safety standards" (updated 19 January 2026), risk register and complaints log, DPIA input pack, data-flow register and diagram template, 68-test release test protocol and test set, complaints and escalation workflow, procurement summary template, and the worked sample, plus the SHA-256 manifest. No review of your product by us, no updates.

3. What it is not

It is not certification, accreditation, legal advice, a DPIA, data protection officer sign-off, safeguarding assurance or a safety guarantee, and the DfE does not endorse it. Filling it in does not show that a product meets the DfE standards. Pupil-facing products should also get qualified data protection, safeguarding and child-development review.

4. What you may do

Use and adapt the templates inside your organisation, for your own products, without time limit. Share completed documents (your evidence) with schools, trusts, investors and auditors.

5. What you may not do

Resell, sublicense or publish the blank templates, or offer them as your own template product. Remove the source attribution.

6. Public sources

The 87 requirement rows closely paraphrase the DfE standards, which are public sector information under the Open Government Licence v3.0. Keep this attribution: "Contains public sector information licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0."

7. Delivery and refunds

Delivery is automatic: after the payment is confirmed on Base you receive a signed download link that expires after 48 hours and can be re-issued from your order page for 30 days. If a download fails or a file is damaged, email us with the transaction hash and we will re-issue it. Payments on Base are irreversible and there is no automatic refund.

8. AI disclosure

The templates, the test set and the worked sample were drafted by AI agents working for Adam Hale and checked by scripts (formula recalculation, rendering, attribution). No data protection, safeguarding or legal specialist has reviewed them.

9. Liability

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid. We are not liable for lost profits, lost opportunities or indirect losses. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. General

These terms are the whole agreement for this licence. Governed by the law of England and Wales.
